Coding Competition Preparation Sessions

Coding Competition Preparation Sessions for kids grades 6-12. Sessions focus: preparation for the coding competition season. We’ll cover what competitions are available to the kids, how they have to prepare for them, and practice solving different level tasks from past competitions, reviewing the solutions, and proper approaches.

What will be covered in the sessions:

Coding competitions available in our state
Registrations, deadlines
Preparation techniques and materials
Sample tasks (starting from basic and going to advanced level)
Effective techniques used in the competitions to maximize your score
How to work in the team efficiently

Schedule:

Session #1: January 14th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Session #2: January 21th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Session #3: January 28th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Free Hollywood Visual Effects Event – October 22nd, 2024

Winter IT Camps at STEP

Winter break is just around the corner, and we’ve got an exciting new program of workshops to fill your child’s Winter Break with fun and useful activities.

Topics include a wide range of engaging subjects, such as Robotics, Minecraft Mods, Game Development, Photo & Video Editing, HW Lab, 3D Printing, Engineering, Arduino, and a comprehensive STEM program tailored for kids in grades 1-2.

Different levels/groups for students in grades 1-2, 3-5, and 6-8. On-site sessions, small groups.

NEW this season: we’re giving you more flexibility and control over the schedule. You can choose to sign up for the entire week (full-day options available only for kids in grades 3+), opt for the whole week with either AM or PM sessions, or cherry-pick individual classes that spark your child’s interest.

The number of remaining spots in each class is updated regularly. If a class you are interested in is full, we can put your child on a waitlist. You will be contacted by our office when a seat becomes available.

Please note that all prices in this posting are shown as per-month tuition when the annual payment is made (the school year consists of 10 months September through June). We offer an option to pay monthly with an extra 10% fee.
